My progress is gone
Progress is stored on your phone. If Android's backup is on, your phone may bring it back when you install the game again with the same Google account; otherwise we cannot restore it, because we have no copy.
The leaderboard
Scores go to Google Play Games. If you use Play Games on your phone, the game signs you in by itself and sends your total score to its leaderboard. Your Play Games profile and who can see it are set in the Play Games app.
The daily reward reminder
If you allow notifications, the game reminds you when your daily reward is ready. You can turn them off in your phone's settings.
